Nam Nguyen is a Registered Patent Agent at Gallium Law. Prior to joining Gallium Law in 2025, Nam interned at the University of Minnesota Technology Commercialization office as a Professional Patent Program intern, focusing mainly on medical devices.
Nam graduated from the University of Minnesota Duluth in spring 2023 with a B.S. in Biochemistry and a B.A. in Chemistry. During the entirety of his undergraduate studies, Nam represented the student body by participating in the Student Government Association and earned the honor of being the Student Body President (SBP). As UMN-Duluth's SBP, he secured funding for, and launched the Student Legal Services Program, testified before the Minnesota Higher Education Committee for free menstrual products at public universities, and advocated for increased funding for the University of Minnesota System.
After his undergraduate studies, Nam earned his Master of Science in Patent Law at the University of Minnesota Law School. He served on the Law Council as the M.S. in Patent Law representative and assistant to the treasurer and participated in the TORTS Musical Production.
In his spare time, Nam enjoys going to the gym to power lift and learning how to become a great home cook/baker. Nam has also played the piano for over 18 years and focuses mainly on classical and jazz music. He also enjoys riding and racing his motorcycle when he has the time and opportunity!
